Project walk in Himmelbyen – An ultra-urbanization project in Ørestad
Himmelbyen is a show case of new ways to densify the city. In the project the height of the building and different functions of the vertical city are utilized to invite more collective functionalism. Versatility of the materials and especially use of the wood on decorative surface in urban is possible with fire protection treatment. The facade of Himmelbyen is featured with fire protected Lunawood Thermowood.
Date: Tue 4th July, departure at 5.15 from the booth C3-030.
Registration: at the booth C3-030 by Tue 4th of July at 4 pm. For limited number of participants. Registration opens at the start of the event at the booth.
Description of the event
On Tuesday 4 July, immediately after the Congress, we gather together at the booth C3-030 and departure at 5.15 pm to the bus, which takes us to Ørestad, where Himmelbyen locates. Bus ride back to the Congress venue. Duration ca. 1 h.
