New Appointments in Lunawood’s Management
Tomi Ristimäki has been appointed CEO of Lunawood
Tomi Ristimäki M.Sc. (Tech) has been appointed as the new CEO of Oy Lunawood Ltd, a Finnish manufacturer of thermally modified wood products. Ristimäki will assume his position on April 20, 2026. Tomi Ristimäki has previously worked as CEO of Kempower Oyj and held senior sales management positions in several companies. He brings to Lunawood extensive experience in leading growth and transformation both in Finland and internationally.

I am happy to join the team to build the company’s next phase of growth together with Lunawood personnel”, Tomi comments.
The current CEO of Lunawood Arto Halonen will continue with the company in Senior Advisor role. During the spring and summer, Arto will support Tomi in onboarding in his new role and will thereafter contribute to the development of the company in assignments separately defined by the Board of Directors and the CEO. Arto will as well continue as a member of the Board of Directors of Lunaholder Oy.
“I joined the company in 2012 and, together with Lunawood personnel, have had the opportunity to drive company’s growth to the international leader in the industry. I celebrated my 60th birthday last year and now is the right time to transfer responsibility to a new CEO,” Arto says.
