New appointment at Lunawood Iisalmi Mill

Jukka-Matti Keltanen has been appointed Mill Director of Lunawood’s Iisalmi Mill

Lunawood has appointed Jukka-Matti Keltanen, M.Sc. (Tech.), as Mill Director of its Iisalmi Mill, effective September 21, 2026. Keltanen joins Lunawood from Metsä Fibre Oy, where he has served as Mill Manager of the Lappeenranta sawmill. He has extensive and diverse experience in production management and people leadership across various industries. During his career, Keltanen has held positions at companies including ABB, Fazer, Corenso and Stora Enso.

“Jukka-Matti brings to Lunawood strong expertise in industrial production management, combined with broad experience in leading different organisations and people. The Iisalmi Mill plays a key role in Lunawood’s operations, and I am very pleased to welcome Jukka-Matti to strengthen our production organisation and further develop our operations together with the skilled team in Iisalmi,” says Matti Lehmuskorpi, VP Operations at Lunawood.

The current Mill Director, Petri Lyyra, will leave Lunawood at the turn of September and October. Under his leadership, several significant investments have been carried out at the Iisalmi Mill, leaving the mill well positioned in terms of competitiveness and readiness for future growth. Petri Lyyra will support Jukka-Matti Keltanen’s onboarding during September and will remain available to support him as needed until the end of 2026.

In his new role, Keltanen will report to Matti Lehmuskorpi, VP Operations.
