The wooden frame building has sustainable and durable Lunawood Thermowood cladding. The profiles are of thermally treated Nordic Spruce, with small, round knots. The design philosophy was ecological, non-toxic and maintenance-free materials such as Lunawood Thermowood.
The cladding has natural brown tone at the beginning and it does not have any surface treatment. That means the facade will turn over time to beautiful silver-grey upon exposure to UV. The cladding under the shelters will remain in brown tone.
