Changes in Lunawood management and responsibilities in order to boost growth

Lunawood will streamline its management. Changes in sales and marketing responsibilities will boost the growth for the business of value-added products.

 

Oliver Becker has been appointed Vice President Sales of Lunawood as of the 2nd of March 2020. He has a strong background in various sales and management positions in wood products industry and his latest job has been Area Sales Director of UPM Plywood.

Oliver will be responsible for the entire sales operations of Lunawood including all products, markets and customers and he will oversee the company’s global sales strategy and plans and the operations and results of the international and domestic sales teams. Oliver will be stationed at Lunawood head office in Lahti, he is a member of Lunawood Management Team and he will report to Arto Halonen, CEO of Lunawood.

Former Sales Director Janne Heikkinen has resigned and will take on new challenges as of the 1st of February 2020. Janne’s former personal sales responsibilities will be divided to Area Managers as following: Ivan Savinskiy Middle East, Tomi Halme APAC and Susanna Walther South and Central America.

Maija Masalin has been appointed Vice President Marketing of Lunawood 1st of February 2020. In addition to her current responsibilities she will also be in charge of product management and development. Product Manager Jussi Vartiainen will report to Maija.

Matti Lehmuskorpi has been appointed Vice President Operations of Lunawood as of 1st of February 2020 and his current responsibilities remain the same.
