Lunawood strengthens its Production and Sales and Supply chain organisations
Lunawood will clarify its production organization and invest in the personnel resources in Iisalmi to ensure smooth and controlled implementation of increased production capacity.
Following appointments will take place on the 22nd of August:
Jari Pasanen has been appointed Mill Manager at Lunawood Iisalmi mill. Jari has previously worked as Production Manager at Iisalmi mill being responsible for Lunawood and Lunacomp productions. Jari’s location is in Iisalmi and he reports to COO Matti Lehmuskorpi.
Kaskinen Mill Manager Ismo Leppäniemi will also become responsible for the Occupational Safety and Health Issues and centralized purchases of the company (excluding sawn timber and subcontracting).
Production Manager of Hammaslahti mill Hannu Konttinen will from now on report to Matti Lehmuskorpi.
Production planner of Kaskinen mill Tero Sievi-Korte will from now on report to Production Planning Manager Janne Heikkinen.
Simo Kokkonen has been appointed Logistics Engineer as of the 1st of September by a fixed-term contract. The contract is one year long, and Simo’s duties include, in addition to his current responsibilities, the development of shipment functions. Simo’s office is in Iisalmi and he reports to SCM Manager Eila Härkin.
As part of the change, current Mill Manager of Iisalmi, Henry Mantsinen, will leave the company on the 20th of September 2018 to move on to new challenges.
Lunawood invests in personnel resources at Iisalmi mill
The job description of the Iisalmi Mill Manager will be clarified, and in the future, he will focus mainly on the Iisalmi mill’s issues. At the same time company invests in the production organization of Iisalmi by recruiting two Production Foremen. Production Foremen work close to everyday activities and, together with the employees, are responsible for the smooth running of the production. The recruitment is currently underway, and we will communicate about it and more detailed job descriptions later.
