Lunawood at the Housing Fair in Oulu 2025 – Villa Prykä, Site No. 3

Lunawood products are prominently featured at the Housing Fair in Oulu 2025, where this year’s themes highlight carbon-wise construction, modern villa living, and a strong connection to nature and community.

Villa Prykä, site number 3, is an architecturally striking wooden building located on the shores of the Oulujoki estuary — a place where natural light, landscape, and urban culture converge.

In Villa Prykä, Lunawood’s domestic ThermoWood® creates a harmonious ensemble that breathes with its surroundings and stands the test of time. The exterior cladding is a combination of hidden-nailed Luna Trim panels and Lunawood SHP battens. For the terrace, the choice was the visually bold brushed ThermoWood® spruce board Luna SHP Profix 3 32×166. Naturally greying outdoors, Lunawood products support carbon-wise and aesthetically sustainable construction.

A special highlight of the project is the outdoor sauna, where the atmosphere in the steam room is created using our new Luna Arctic Triple, a pre-greyed cladding panel designed for interior and exterior use.
