Casa JT
Casa JT is a small project nestled on the mountains of Madeira Island designed by Mayer & Selders Arquitectura. The house consists of reconstructed basalt stone ruins and a new wooden addition. It is surrounded by stunning scenery with views opening up to both sides of the house. The surrounding mountain view is a hidden gem with steep slopes and waterfalls, only accessible by a footpath. Lunawood Thermowood is a perfect choice for a natural look bringing soft tones of the nature into the facade. Lunawood develops a beautiful silver colour over time giving the facade a unified grey look.
Lunawood has improved dimensional stability, which provides the possibility of achieving a seamless, trimless appearance. The roof and facade both are covered using the same product giving the building a truely seamless, modern look. This project showcases the versatility and appeal of Lunawood Thermowood, offering a beautiful and sustainable solution for both new constructions and renovations.
