Kloof House, inspired by treehouses, nestles at the foot of the mountain within the Kogelberg Biosphere. This unique creation, designed by PLATFORMArchitects, emerges from a core principle of respecting the encompassing natural environment, striving to minimize tree cutting. The house’s distinctive curved facade stands elevated on stilts, gracefully adorned with Lunawood Thermowood.
The theme of natural wood extends seamlessly into the interior, particularly in the modern bathroom. Here, the Luna Triple panel, combined with green tiles, creates a striking yet harmonious blend, encapsulating the essence of nature and contemporary design.
